Dr. Mayank Bansal is an eye surgeon, from the premier medical institute of the country, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, where he spent 6 years. There he was conferred with the Prem Prakash Trophy, and meritoriously received the first rank in Senior Residency. He has operated more than 2000 eye surgeries including complex vitreo-retinal surgeries and advanced cataract surgeries.
In pursuit of advanced skills, and cutting edge technology, he received ICO Fellowship in Vitreo-Retinal Surgery at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), USA in 2014. Thereby bringing world class surgical techniques with him. He was subsequently invited to join as a Consultant at the prestigious Medanta Hospital, where he treated patients for nearly two years.
The All India Collegium of Ophthalmology has awarded him FAICO in Vitreo-Retinal Surgery.He has also been Visiting Physician, at the University of Iowa,USA.
